What am I on earth for? Obviously something for God [yeah bringing in the religion lol >.>], but why am I not seeing it yet? :/ What is my god-sent gift? You know, you have some people who are talented musically, they can sing, rap, or produce music…some people can dance, some people have the ability of golden communication, the brainiacs & let’s not forget those who can play sports. Where do I fit in? Mind you, I have tried what I’ve mentioned [it just… did not work out eek!] I’m just the person who is known as “.._____’s friend”. I’m the person people usually overlook, unless it’s for taking advantage of me. I seriously wonder why people talk to me. Well I suppose I have nothing left to say.
“This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches.
But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!”—Jeremiah 9:23-24
Sometimes we look for a certain type of companionship in someone that is not willing to give us what we want and surely deserve. But, we stay by their sides in the hope that they will somehow, someday give us what we need and show us that they mean it. I think that’s the issue with most of you these days. You find someone that you completely and absolute love. You are willing to do everything for that person but clearly, that someone isn’t willing to do the same. But, you stay anyways because you love them and you need them and somehow that covers up for what they lack to give you back. I’m sorry but it should never be like that. You give someone what you want in return - you should never give 100% of yourself to someone who is clearly only giving you 15% of them. And if you do anyways knowing that then when it all goes downhill and you get hurt, you shouldn’t even complain or emphasize the amount of pain in which you’re in because of it. You should have learned that love works both ways and that it consists of two people giving their all and not one giving themselves while receiving nothing in return. “We accept the love we think we deserve” is a quote that goes perfectly with what i’m saying. Sometimes we get so deep into a relationship that we forget what we deserve and we just settle for the best that we think we are being given. And in reality we are pouring every inch of ourselves into someone that doesn’t even deserve us. It shouldn’t be like this at all. Don’t ever accept anything else than what you really and truly deserve. If the person you are with doesn’t appreciate you and the love you give them, let them go. I can promise you that there is someone out there that willingly will give you the love you deserve and so much more.
But honestly, if there’s two girls walking down the street, one with nice smokey eyes and a classy red lipstick and another with shoved up hair and no makeup; you’re going to be looking at the one who made an effort .. and if boys do prefer natural girls, why is it always the girls who wear the most makeup who actually get the boyfriends?
